How do get an earring back out of your ear without the earring on the front?

Use a bit of petroleum jelly on the post and hold the earring and turn the back. This should let the jelly work it's way down into the backing. In a couple of minutes you can pull it off the post.

Grab your earring by the back. Pull that off Not fast but not slow, while holding your earring by the front so it doesn't fall to the ground. After the back is removed, you can slowly pull out the front of your earring.

On the back of the stud there is a backing, some have little locks that need to be squeezed to release the backing from the stud, others are just a nylon backing held on with a friction fit so just pull on the backing and it should come off.

If the piercing was done with a captive bead ring ( the ring has a bead on it ) push the bead to one side of the ring , you need to apply a bit of force to get the bead to pop off the ring. mostly if you are whereing those little ones, then you have to lift your lobe and then take the butterfly pin off. then you just slowly pull the earring off your ear. if your whereing one of the hook earring, you have to gentlylet it go around like a hill . if you are whereing a clip one, just undo the clip and then do the same thing as a hook earring.
