After water pump or t-stat replacement, this is how. First, close the pet-cock at the RF side of your radiator. Make sure to use "Toyota" brand coolant and buy the concentrate. Mix it to a 50/50 ratio with water. Fill up your radiator. Make sure the overflow bottle is empty. Once the radiator is near full, use needle-nose pliers or a channel-lock wrench to remove the clamp on the upper radiator hose. Fill the hose with coolant, then re-install. This will fill up the thermostat housing and cover the CTS(Coolant Temp Sensor). Note: Make sure to remove the hose from the top of the radiator next to the filler cap: Start the engine and let it warm up. Once the t-stat opens, the coolant should start moving through the radiator. Make sure to leave the radiator cap off. Top-off the radiator after it warms up. Replace the rad cap. Fill the overflow bottle half-way. Drive it for 5-10 miles. Make sure to run the heat on full blast while your driving. After the drive, park the car and let it cool down. Remove the rad cap only after the engine has cooled down completely. Top-off the radiator again and fill the overflow bottle half-way. Drive the car for 30+ miles, then check the radiator again. You may need to top-off once more _-+=
check your thermostat can be stuck partially open and make sure there is no air in the cooling system
No they are different
No, the condenser is a mini radiator for the air conditioning system only. The engine cooling system is separate from this component. You just won't have any cool air!
93 paseo does use R-12.
Engine cooling system and passenger compartment cooling system are two separate entities. A failure in one is unlikely to affect the other. Start with checking the thermostat, then you might want to have your radiator flushed.
Yes, the flywheel and clutch assembly will come off and go on the other engine or other way around. Not a problem.
Answer To get an air bubble otu of the cooling system, let the engine run with the rad cover off. Let it run till the fan comes on. You will see that bubbles will come out as the car heats up.
From the metering device outlet to the compressor inlet.
We have no way to do pictures or diagrams, sorry.
the tyre pressure is 98 onwards
No, airbags did'nt start being included on the Paseo until, I believe, the 1994 or 1995 model year, about 2 to 3 years before the end of the Paseo's production run in 1997. I have a 1992 Paseo and it does NOT have airbags, neither driver or passenger. The 1993 Paseo does have a drivers side airbag. I have a 93 paseo and it does have a drivers side airbag
I have a 93 previa. I took it to a mechanic because it wasn't cooling. they recharged it after replacing the nipple on the system with one that takes the newer freon.
