How do get twins on The Sims 2 and 3?

Well that's easy. All you have to do is pause the game and press LB,RB,LT,and RT at the same time to unlock the cheat. Remember to save the game before doing so. Then unpause the game. Press "X" and go to the traits section. at the bottom you'll see lifetime rewards. Switch to that and buy the fertility treatment reward. It is garanteed that you are now able to have twins and even triplets! Hope this helped!

On both Sims 2 and 3 you can use the cheat code 'forcetwins'. To use it press 'ctrl' + 'shift' + 'c' and type 'forcetwins' into the cheat box. To only increase the chances of having twins in Sims 3 have the pregnant Sim listen to kids music or watch the kids channel on the TV, for Sims 2 the only way is if you have Open for Business, make your pregnant Sim eat cheesecake.

Well to get twins are truly luck but to enhance the chances of having twins, give both the parents the fertility treatment. Also, (im not sure if this works) watching the kids channel and reading childrens books help too.
