Why were pandas pushed out of China?

Giant pandas live only in the bamboo forests of China. Some people wanted more land for farming so began destroying the bamboo forest, forcing the few pandas to seek refuge higher and higher in the mountains. During winter the pandas move to lower altitudes in the forests where it is warmer but those lands were quickly disappearing. The giant panda was losing its habitat and had no place to go.

Can giant panda bears live in the jungle?

The natural habitat of the giant panda is cool, wet, cloudy mountain forest land where bamboo grows. Giant pandas are found in mixed deciduous/evergreen temperate forests, between 3,000 and 10,500 feet (900-3,200 m) in altitude (below the timberline). Pandas used to also live at lower altitudes, but farming and land development have pushed the pandas high into the mountains. So, yes, giant pandas could live in jungle areas IF the temperature was agreeable and IF the jungles had an adequate supply of bamboo and enough room to move around. The ONLY giant panda bears out in the wild live in China.

How do butterflys fly?

Butterflies move by flights. They fly from place to place. They have four wings which are joined together but do not move together as the butterfly flies. They have very strong muscles in their thorax region that allow them to push their wings up and down to force the air both above and below to move. A butterflies wings also do not move just in an up and down motion, they move in a figure eight format.

Pandas often are sitting down in a slumped position grabbing food. However they also walk on all four feet, and can stand up on their hind legs. Pandas move pretty slowly, as they eat over 30kg of bamboo a day!
