GymnospermsA gymnosperm [Greek for "naked seed"] is a vascular plant that produces seeds that are not protected by fruit but are hidden in a woody cone. They do not have flowers but most retain their leaves year round. AngiospermsAngiosperms are vascular plants that produce flowers and fruit with one or more seeds. Angiosperms make up two classes: monocot and dicot. Angiosperms make up more than 80% of all plant species, ranging from roses to palm trees.

Gymnosperms are plants line coniferous trees, etc.

Angiosperms are flowering plants.

Gymnosperms usually have two different types of cones: male and female. The male cones have pollen, and the female cones are essentially the "seeds." The pollen gets to the female parts by the wind, there are no animal pollinators.

Angoisperms are flowers. They have male parts, called stamens, and female parts, called pistils. The pollen from the male part gets transferred to the sticky part of the pistil called the stigma by pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Then the sperm (pollen) makes its way down the pistil to the ovary, where, once fertilization happens, mitosis causes the seeds to mature. The seeds are then carried by the wind to a different location where they can be planted, germinate, and form a new adult plant.
