If they where not born together or they did not grow up together then they will fight! this goes for any type of pet! It is because one will try to show domenence and it can lead in to fighting.
They will start rolling into a ball and start trying to bite the stomach area
Usually they start fighting because of territory. They want to get the most space. To prevent this, give them two separate cages with separate food, water, bedding, and toys.
Yes, actually all hamsters fight by biting, clawing, and tackling each other.
But if its a child, they are only playing around.
many kinds of hamsters are: Russian Albino( Albino hamsters can be any breed) Dwarf Robo But if you do some reasearch, you could find soooooooo many more breeds.
Yes, Roborovski hamsters make great pets. They are some times called robo hamsters, they have a LOT of energy . Roborovski are better for older children because they are so small.
Robo hamsters very rarely bite, although they are very difficult to catch and hold. They will jump out of your hands from any height and will run and hide to avoid being caught. Despite their skittish nature, they are not generally aggressive. I have never even been nipped by my robo.
yes hamsters should have some one else but they must be the same breed and same litter but never ever put 2 Syrian hamsters together because its just plane cruel because they'll fight till the death if you really want Syrian baby's please ask your vet and a (even better than me) hamster expert all i know is that keep them together while your watching them and as soon as the females pregnant take him out! ANSWER: i have never heard so much crap about Syrian hamsters as i have on this website. i rescued a solid white (normal eyes) Syrian from a pet store where she was living in filth and couldn't even reach her water bottle. i decided she needed a friend and went to a different pet store and bought another one. neither one has ever fought not once. they are now being bred to my bf's sweet Syrian and he has been in there a week with out any problems from the girls!
you could but fist think if u want more then 20 robo hamsters if so then yes.also once they grow larger they will need larger space since they are the smallest hamster kept as a pet.to stop your hamsters from breeding then separate them.when they have litters you should not disturb (which means no handling it,no cleaning the cage)them. If you do disturb them, then the next day your hamster babies will be eaten from the mother or she would stop taking care of it.during the following days you should watch and wait till 3-4 weeks later to handle them.by that time you should start feeding them dry and fresh food.(do not feed them cooked, salted, sweeten and rotted food)anyway for now if it is 1 week old the mother will feed her milk. PS:i have 2 robo hamsters which gave birth to 4 cute hamster babies: mother:the four babies: have fun with your hamsterZ!
Robo hamsters are robo hamsters, they can be about 2 inches long on average, and stay robo hamsters.
one robo hamsters will fight do not put them together they will be OK for 1-2 weeks but then you have to separate them because they will mark their tretory I would know i had 6 together and they fighted.
No difference- a robo hamster IS a hamster!
