There are many forms. One way is the scissor mechanism similar to that of a scissor lift. others have pulleys. One cool one on YouTube shows a dual action pulley system that resets each time. check out ammnra (spelled like that)

I guess to apples to apples you would have to have two blades from different suppliers side by side and see which lasts longer. Abrasive material like drywall and grout can make quick work of any blade.
It depends on the occasion.
No. Although it would've been a novel weapon for an assassin during the Crusades, no such weapon existed. All blueprints drawn for the weapon were created by Ubisoft Montreal, the game's designer.
Blades on a helicopter provide both lift and thrust, therefore, the more blades, the more lift and speed can be obtained. IT should also be noted that more horsepower is needed for the additional blades so it can be a trade off in fuel consumption.
swords dagers and hidden blades. Yes hidden blades are real.
Hidden blades are illegal anywhere you go becuase they can be classified as a spring-assisted blade, which is against the Switch-blade Act.
If your talking about in the Assassins creed series, no where, there is no such thing as a "third" hidden blade, only in script modifications. If your talking about real hidden blades, just make one.

You can find different types of hidden blades for purchase online on The Knife Connection website. You can also find many pictures of them online by doing a general search.
there are swords, maces, axes, daggers, throwing knives (my favorite), hidden blades, poison blades ,and a gun attachment for the hidden blades. You can also throw money or drop smoke bombs to distract/slow down enemies. you can also pick up a broom laying around and hit people with it.
I just tried this today and the answer is no, Shick Hydro blades did not work in my Schick Quattro razor. Also, the Quattro blades did not work in the Hydro razor.
In Assassins Creed I: Sword, Dagger, Throwing Knifes, Hidden Blade, Fists. In Assassins Creed II: There are 20+ Swords, 10+ Daggers, Throwing Knifes, you can buy Metal Gloves for Fists, Hidden Blade, Dual Hidden Blades (unlocked in game), Flash Bombs to stun enemies, Poison Hidden Blade to disable/distract enemies, throw coins to distract enemies (its in the weapons list). If you're playing Assassins Creed 1, then you're playing as the legendary Altair. Who has different weapons than Ezio, who you play as in Assassins Creed 2 [my favorite], in this you have: Hidden blades [2], mini pistol, sword, dagger, fists, smoke bombs, and poison blades. All that you can access by selecting the weapon wheel in the game, if you have it!
