It is said "Those who don't know history will repeat it". This is true. If we don't know what was done in the past, we will make some of the same mistakes and such.
Historians will help us.
Hello
Because when you study the mistakes that people have made in the past, you can learn not to repeat them. and by studying history we can know what are we... what can we do... what is our power... n what are limitations .... sometimes history can give spirit, ideas, inspiration and confidence in our selves...
We learn about violent events in history's because it is important to us what happened in the past that we still remember.
As the great philosopher Georges Santayana said, "Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it". In other words, if you understand your past history you can learn from your mistakes and not repeat them in the future. However this also means you can learn from your successes and endeavour in future to use the same techniques where possible to ensure future success.
Historians help us learn about the past by studying the past themselves. These studies include history books, audio recordings, diaries, official and unofficial documents.
We can see the past or the "Photos" we captured . It can let us remember the things that we have to learn . :)
What lived where and in some casses how.
Anthropologists can help us learn about the distant past in a variety of ways. For example, by conducting studies of isolated tribes who still live like our ancestors did in many ways.
Historians will help us.
Historians research past events, people, and societies to better understand how they have shaped the present. By analyzing primary sources and evidence, historians seek to uncover patterns, causes, and effects of historical phenomena, providing insights into human behavior and societal development. Their research helps us learn from the past and make informed decisions for the future.
Archaeologists, geologists and geographers find evidence that tells us of the past. Historians record events that become the past.
Artifacts are important to Historians (and Archaeologists) because they are actual evidence of past human activity. However fossils are NOT important to historians as they are too old, they ARE important to Geologists.
Artifacts benefit today by providing insights into past civilizations, cultures, and technologies. They help historians and archaeologists piece together the puzzle of our history and understand how societies evolved over time. They also offer a tangible connection to the past, allowing people to appreciate and learn from the achievements and mistakes of those who came before us.
many scientists help us by studing the past
Anthropologists can help us learn about the civilizations of the distant past by researching and observing patterns of behavior in the civilizations. However, anthropologists study the social aspect of history and the social development of people, society and civilizations. A person more suited to help us learn about the distant past would be an archaeologist. Archaeologists study remaining artifacts and draw conclusions of the time period and events that took place during that time period while anthropologists study the social development of that time period. I know this because I have taken an anthropology course. (Fascinating subject by the way!)
Yes, they are a major part of history, telling us the past of cavemen.
