They clutter narwhal sea routes with surface and underwater vessels and scientific equipment. They pollute the narwhal's Arctic habitat with emissions and waste from equipment and vehicles. Likewise is the narwhal's Arctic habitat sullied by global warming, whose natural causes are worsened by human inputs to warming temperatures and waters, melting ice, and impacted marine life. For example, narwhals have specific feeding and living conditions to meet. Ice formations and marine life need certain temperature, salinity and pressure levels to abound or perish.
