I have noticed this problem as well. The next time you put on tires, go to a larger size.
No speedometer cable, it is electronically controlled from transmission.
there is no wire it is controlled by a sensor.
what is the right pressure for a 1998 toyota tacoma pre runner
The correct size is listed on the driver's door post. On a standard Tacoma 2wd the correct size is 195/75-14 and 205/70-14 is optional. If you have a Tacoma PreRunner then the size listed on the door post is wrong. The correct size is 265/75-15. This size is also correct for a 4wd.
I am having the same problem. I know for sure there is one on the transmission but according to my mechanic there is another in the instrument cluster at the speedometer. Can seem to find any info on the speedometer sensor.
Because it Works?
SAE 5w20 conventional or synthetic.
Normally this is not the guage but the sending unit or wiring. You would not have an error code unless it was a problem with the emmisions, or emergency systems such as brakes or air bags.
Pretty sure it has an electronic speed sensor which means it doesnt have a cable but instead it plugs into the wiring harness.
Error-Correcting Code or EEC
That is the correct spelling of the word "slipped" (made misstep or error).
No, you do not as the computer does it, provided you install the correct one.
