Hi I've got a Bryco' 59 9mm handgun and it works well. I had this gun for over 10 yrs and i have paid around $250 . I am guessing it's worth now about $200
Bryco Arms was founded in the wake of the Gun Control Act of 1968, which effectively banned the further importation of cheap pistols commonly referred to as "Saturday Night Specials". They're made to be cheap and somewhat crude, and intended for people who maybe can't afford to buy a $400 or more handgun.

Check out this web site for your answer. http://bryco-jennings-jimenezarms.com/index.html If your question is, does Bryco model 38 or model 380 have a firing pin....then yes it does or when it was made.
Yes, 380 or 9mm from a model 58 or 59 is the same pin...
Any unlocked breech, straight blowback pistol - particularly the cheaply made, small calibre models from Raven/Lorcin/Bryco/Jiminez Arms/Davis/any of these other "ring of fire" companies I forgot to add in here.
bryco has now turned into Jimenez firearms they are out of California and distribute essentially the same gun try contacting them.
Best thing to do is to ask a gunsmith for help.
She needs to go to a gunstore or two and see which "feels" good to herIt would also be best to stay away from less reputable manufactures and stick with well known brands. Manufacturers such as Lorcin, Raven, Bryco, and Jennings tend to carry a bad reputation around them.
