It should have. Truck has to be running, in drive during daylight hours for the DRL to be on. Kinda hard to check if you are the driver. Have someone outside the truck watch to see of they are working or not. If they don't work there is a good chance the bulbs are burned out.
With the vehicle in park, the parking brake disengaged, and the headlights turned off, start the engine. If it has DRLs, they'll come on.
push in on your dome override button twice. Note you will have to do this everytime you shut it off. the engine has to be running when you do this,this also disables the automatic headlights. Hope this helps.

Take a light tester and check the pins at the truck side trailer plug. With the truck set for running lights check for power at the pins. If there is power then there is a loose or bad wire on the trailer side. If there is no power then there is a power problem on the truck side.

No they did not come factory equipped with daytime running lights.
If you unscrew the headlights, You will see tiny little screws behind that. They may have little nipple like coverings in them. Unscrew these and you can replace the bulbs. Look carefully as these screws are tiny
on top of the block. on the left side under the intake manifold.
It turns the back up LIGHTS on, on the rear of the truck.
the running lights can not be turned off. they are safety features and cannot be by-passed
