How do you mean 'fix' the chat lexicon?

If the game is displaying an error regarding the "online lexicon is unavailable", this can't be fixed manually, as it's a problem with the game server which generally resolves itself with time.

If you mean fixing the lexicon to allow more words/phrases, you can't. The lexicon is updated at least once per month with additions or removals to the current list; Ninja_wolfs963 assumes full responsibility of updating the lexicon list and sending it on to Dave, who uploads the updated lexicon each month. You're welcome to contribute additions or suggest removals from the lexicon via the respective thread, linked below.

You must be playing the latest version of WolfQuest for the lexicon to work. Older versions aren't supported and cannot connect to the multiplayer server; this is deliberate and intended by the team to stop interaction between outdated games and lexicons. If you're playing any version below the current stable release (2.5.1) please update, as you will not be able to play multiplayer at all.

Happy WolfQuesting.

What do you do when the WolfQuest chat lexicon is unavailable?

You can either close the error page and try again, or exit and check your internet connection. After that, try again or wait a while if it is still not working.

How do you connect chat lexicon to wolf quest?

Not sure what you mean, but if you mean in Multiplayer, while you are creating the server, you have Phrase chat already selected so just click Lexicon chat.-- edit 22-10-2012All games utilise the lexicon. If you're having issues with the lexicon being unavailable, please review the link in the source / related links section for details troubleshooting the problem's meaning. :)

How do you go to the Muliplayer chat on WolfQuest?

I want to get on multiplayer but i cant they said somethin about a lexicon chat somethin like tht. whts a lexicon chat??? someone plz help me.I assume that Lexicon Chat is whatever they use to allow chatting between players in multiplayer mode - sometimes it cannot be accessed due to poor internet connection. Now, to answer the original question; to access the multiplayer mode, you have to register an account on the WolfQuest website. When your account in registered, you have to wait for a period of time for it to be fully accepted by the site admins. The maximum amount of time you should have to wait is 3 days, and they recommend that if you still have not received a confirmation email by then, you should email the admin address that will be contained in the first email you receive from them for signing up. (Don't delete that email!) Then, once you have been confirmed, I think you will be able to log in to multiplayer games with your website login and password. If not, they will probably provide an alternate password. Sorry for the ramble - hope I helped! xx

What does phrase chat mean in wolfquest?

It means you can only talk using certain pre-defined sentences. For example- "Hello! Should we hunt?" "Hello! I'm new." "Goodbye everyone." ...etc, etc. This was introduced as a means of allowing WolfQuest's multiplayer to work without requiring a lexicon, which may eventually happen due to the recent announcements by WQ Coordinator, linked below.

Is there a wolfquest 4?

No. There are only two episodes- a third was never announced, and a fourth would only exist if it wasn't for the current situation. The project has always been dependent on funding for any future episodes, just to ensure the game would remain free to download. There were originally four episodes of WolfQuest planned, one for each season. That did not happen as a result of funding being ceased -- the Minnesota zoo has ceased seeking funding sources and accepting donations. Any donations received as of January 2013 will go towards Minnesota Zoo, not WolfQuest.Consequently, there are only two episodes of WolfQuest: Amethyst Mountain and Survival of the Pack. There were plans for a third episode in the future, however because of the funding situation, that won't happen. The WolfQuest website will remain online for an indefinite period of time. Eventually, the game will lose its lexicon chat feature, leaving only phrased and disabled chat types.Right now, the forums are only still running thanks to the moderators and voluntary administrators; if their attention wavers, we could see the lexicon being removed sooner rather than later, as explained in the WolfQuest Update topic. The project has been running since 2007. It has long ago achieved its goals, and the team is proud to have had a successful project to teach the world about wolves, so its end is not in vain. Maybe someday we'll see a return, but nothing is set in stone at this point.
