How do i get my dog to stop barking at nothing. It doesn't have to be an object. we'll just take her outside and she'll start barking at air. What do i do?

sounds like a pretty stupid dog to me. but dont worry. my dog does that too. but here's something you could do: when ever she starts barking, grab her mussel and say "NO!!!!", then take her inside right away. keep doing this until she stops.... if its a small yappy dog, like a yorki, SELL HER. GET HER OUTA THE HOUSE. TO A BETTER HOME. THOSE DOGS SUCK. It may help to have a companion, as dogs are pack hunters. When left alone, dogs stress out, & bark out of frustration.
