The temperature gauge sensor on the 2002 F150 is located on the driver's side of the vehicle and under the intake. This is almost impossible to remove without removing the intake itself.
Removing the transmission dip stick will give you more room to work, but it's still a hard place to get to.
The vehicle speed sensor is on the transmission. The ABS speed sensor is on the differential.
The oxygen sensor sends s signal to the computer when the engine is running to rich or lean. If you have it scanned for codes then it will tell you what is happening. The oxygen sensor does not have to be bad to set a code. It could be as simple as a vacuum leak. It is best to see a technician and have him diagnosis it than to replace parts that are good.
An auto xray scanner can determine if a O2 sensor is bad.
Just downstream after the exhaust manifold
engine light comes on and off. when light is on it hesitates and transmission slips. what could cause that on a 93 F150
Usually in the exhaust pipes coming off the manifolds
drivers side of engine , downstream from catalytic converter
Near the starter on the exhaust header. If it is 1990 it will be fun to break the rusty sensor out of the truck. good luck
Most oxygen sensors are in the exhaust pipe....between the exhaust manifold and the catalytic converter.
