Subaru Forester does not have cornering lights, so chances are you are asking about the front parking light. The housing is held on by one screw accessible under the hood. You then pull the housing toward the front of the car. Bottom of that housing has a ball stud that fits in a socket on a small ear on the headlamp housing. This will allow you to either change the bulb or change the entire housing. --Ken
Have a crunched driver side rear corner bumper. Looking for tips how to remove the skin. Thanks Dorel
If its the same as the 2001 subaru forester, there are two fuse panel locations: The main one is located on the lower left hand corner of the driver side dashboard where you will see what looks like a pull open ashtray holder. Pull that open and you will see that it is actually a cover for where the fuses are located.
Get a single edge razor blade and carefully scrape it from the window. If it is on a painted area try heating it with a hair dryer, working up a corner, then slowly heating and pulling as you go along.
This one is very easy. Corner light cover is held in with just one screw. Lift hood and just above corner light you will see tab from light with screw connected to frame. Take out screw and light cover can be taken out. You will see wires connected to bulb assembly. To replace bulb, unscrew assembly from cover with twisting motion. Replace bulb assembly into new corner light cover and return new corner light cover to its place...put back screw in tab...done. Hope this helps
The Thermostat is located in the bottom of the water pump. Under the front end on the driver's side, there is a radiator hose running to the corner of the engine. The point where the hose enter the engine is the thermostat housing. It is held on by two bolts.
Pop your hood and there should be one screw holding it in place then just pull the corner assembly straight forward.
Access from under the front corner of the car. Remove or push small plastic cover out of the way. Unplug bulb and rotate to remove.
Look behind the carpet panel in each corner. There you will see access to each light assembly. I believe there are 3 or 4 nuts that needs to be removed. Remove them, assembly should fall out. Then whalahh!
A single Phillips head screw under the hood holds a 3/4"wide rounded plastic tab attached to the corner light assembly. Remove this single screw. The lamp assy. will pivot out a little and slide forward.. Replace bulb and reassemble.
There is a single screw above each front parking light assembly. You will need a 7mm socket to remove the screw. After the screw is removed, simply pull on the assembly from the back corner and pull straight forward.
