The air bag light comes on if there's a problem detected someplace in the system. It doesn't necessarily mean you've hit or been hit by something hard enough to deploy the bags. Find an auto supply store that will loan you an OBDII code reader (or buy one, they're inexpensive on eBay). Plug the reader into the OBDII port under the dash to the right of the steering column. The reader will tell you where the car's ECU 'thinks' the problem is. Once the issue is corrected you can use the code reader to turn off the light. Cheers
how do you reset alarm after rplacing the battery on 1999 toyota solara
what is the drive cycle of Toyota solara 2002
Make sure odometer (ODO) is slelected (not trip odometer). Hold in odometer "reset" botton. Turn Igniotion to ON but do not start engine. Light will flash and go off. Turn Ignition OFF. Release "reset" button.
Try disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes. If that does not work you will need an OBD2 scanner to reset it. Of course if you do not fix the problem that triggered the check engine light it will just come back on.

You don't reset the light. The light is on because the Traction Control is turned off. Turn it back on and the light will go off. Look on the shift lever for a button. You don't reset the light. You have to plug a code reader into the OBDII port under your dash. You can borrow them free from many auto supply stores or get them very inexpensively (try eBay). The reader will tell you what the problem is with your ABS system. Once that's repaired the same device will allow you to reset the light. If you reset the light without repairing the problem it'll simply come back on again. Cheers
Check engine light has nothing to do with oil change. The check engine light staying on indicates the computer has detected a problem that is effecting the emissions controls. Now if you are referring to the maintenance required light, open the owner's manual and read it.
Reset the light. Turn everything off. Turn the key on and off when the light just goes off. Keep doing this several times, the light will reset
Don't just reset the srs light! It could still be caused by a faulty sensor. I'd take it to the dealership to get it checked out. Airbags can save your life.
No, you must use an SRS reset tool or go to the BMW dealer and have them reset the airbag sensor light. There's no way of doing it without the tool. I've tried jumpering wires to reset but never worked.
the light will reset itself when the problem is fixed, therefore the problem has not been fixed. take it back! As an alternative to waiting for the system to decide the problem is fixed you could plug an OBD II reader into the port under the dash. The reader can be used to turn warning lights off and reset the system. Note, as mentioned above, if the problem isn't really fixed the light will come on again.
