You have a problem with the brake system. Once you repair the problem the light will reset itself.
it means that one of your brake lights are out .thats why it only lights up when you hit the brakes. once you replace it , the light will go off.
Because you disturbed the sensors. Unhooking the battery for awhile then rehooking after about 15 minutes, should reset the computer.
