Yes, I do have this problem too. Now that I´m back to school it started all of a sudden. I had it in my late high school years some years ago and now at university its back again. I think it´s simply due to the tension and stress that we pass on from our brain to our belly. Unconsciously of course. Breathing exercise and yoga will help I am sure. Sometimes the rumbling and whatnot also comes from the food I have been eating or well, sometimes also because of a lack of food. I have to work on that because in lectures or exams I don´t want my tummy to make such weird noises! I totally know what you mean! I figured that it´s air that needs to be released but hey, knowing this makes me even more tensed. I don´t want to fart in a room with 200 other people in it, also not one with 20 in it, also not in a room with 2 people in it! You see, I have to start worrying less and don´t be so focused on my body. My advice for me and you and anybody with this problem: RELAX... , it starts in your mind
