Students will gain confidence that will help them in life.
JROTC (Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps) helps students by providing them with leadership training, character development, and opportunities for community service. It instills discipline, teamwork, and responsibility, while also teaching important life skills such as goal-setting and time management. JROTC can also provide students with scholarships, college credit, and a potential pathway to a career in the military.
I have many reasons for enrolling in JROTC. JROTC is all about me. It i devoted to my developement as both a student and a person. Although JROTC is very demanding I enjoy the challenge and the discipline. It improve my studing and test taking abilities and help me better focus on academics. JROTC also looks good on your college transcript. I get to travel and meet people i wouldn't normally meet and they become like a family to you. I agree with everything he said but also if your interested in the military JROTC will help you get a sneak preview on how the real military will be. Also if you want to be inlisted after high school it will almost guarentee you being accepted. JROTC is a great choice either way if you just want to become a better citizen or be involved in the military. I'm joining soon {next year} and I'm really excited. Person above me though what should i expect?

The JROTC instructors are contently putting the cadets in leadership positions so they can can get experience and confidence.

JROTC is to teach leadership within a high school through a military curriculum. This program teaches you to be accountable for your actions, or your lack of actions. Not only does JROTC help you be a better citizen, but also if you are in JROTC for the 4 years of your high School career if you join the military you may become E-3. The JROTC Objectives are as follows: 1. Develop informed and responsible citizens. 2. Develop leadership skills. 3. Strengthen character. 4. Promote an understanding of the basic elements and requirements for national security. 5. Help form habits of self-discipline. 6. Develop respect for, and an understanding of, the need for a constituted authority in a democratic society.
Being involved with JROTC for four years definitely makes a difference when looking to be accepted into a college.
Well, it depends if you like it. If you like it, it will motivate you to say to yourself" I can do this." Nothing could stop your self-esteem with the motivation of JROTC. But unfortunately, there are some cadets that think they are perfect in JROTC. Most quit because of those but if you like it 100%, i advise you to ignore them and keep moving forward until the end.
