- Minors can be mean and nasty by teasing someone that is either wearing glasses; hearing aid or braces on their teeth. For years children who wore glasses were called 'four eyes.' Children who need hearing aids should ignore the kids who are bullying them and eventually they will find someone else to pick on. You must keep in your mind that there are thousands of young people who have to wear a hearing aid. The hearing aids of today are so small that it is difficult to see them unless you choose to tell someone you are wearing a hearing aid. For now ignore them and eventually the bullying will stop.
