Although most people like to be rewarded monetarily, think outside the box to come up with a more unique answer to this question. Sometimes, just recognition among co-workers and management could be a good answer.
Monetary rewards work very well for me...
It depends on the work that you are doing. If it is very important, for a job or school project, then you can motivate yourself by telling yourself that if you do a good job then you will be rewarded. If that doesn't work then think about how, for lack of a better word, pissed your boss / teacher will be if you do a bad job. And that you may fail or be fired, depending on what the project is for.

How do you ensure you are doing a good job when dealing with people afrom variety of backgrounds?
Thank you! We are glad we are doing a good job answering your questions! That's what we are here for.
To do a good Job can mean many things such as: Your working hard or keep up the good work. Your doing good as in semi or all the way accurate.
Most of the time, if your doing the job correctly.
Specifics here are not good. Something like this should work: I'd like it to be a long time. Or As long as we both feel I'm doing a good job.
An example would be --- you win a reward/prize for doing a good job.
