Female ferrets have seasons. And in those seasons, it's not really about the male "attracting" the female. It principally involves the male ferret leaping on the back of the female ferret, biting her neck so as to hold her in place, and consummating the "relationship".
Depends on if they are neutered or not. Neutered ferrets usually have no problem being in groups - there maybe occasional bickering between ferrets or aggression towards a newcomer. Some female ferrets will mother the male. Whole ferrets - female and male - can be kept together until breeding season, the males will become aggressive toward other males and must be separated. Jills during breeding season - some tolerate other females and some don't. when breeding time occurs putting the female with the male - the physical act of mating is very violent and aggressive.
Wild ferrets - European polecat ferrets and Black footed ferrets are solitary animals - the male and female are only together at mating time. The male has no role in the family, the female raises the kits alone.
If the male is high rank enough, the female will mate (breed) with him. Some female hamsters will eat the male after this happens, so separate them after this happens.
When ferrets are in season, the male and female are only together for the physical act of mating and afterward each goes their separate ways. The Jill ferret cares for the babies herself.
A female hamster will have a longer tail then the male hamsters and female's make more mess then male's.
male hamsters are said to be very friendly but ive had 3 female hamsters and they were very easy to look after .
Yes, she will have baby hamsters, but only if she mates with a male hamster.
only MALE HAMSTERS LICK FEMALE HAMSTERS SCENTS "I KNOW THAT BECAUSE I HAVE A MALE HAMSTER & A FEMALE HAMSTER".
It depends on the hamster (:
If your hamster is a female it will have dots under its belly .
no 2 male hamsters will fight, I have a Male Hamster and so does my Brother, we put them next to each other and my Hamster jumped on top of his. if you out 2 male or female hamsters together, they will surely fight
Yes two female hamster can fight but not as violent or often as male hamsters. female hamsters can get in rarely any fights
Do not put the male around the female! Some male hamsters eat the babies, I'm not kidding.
It is ususally a female hamster that attracts a male. If you want them together is suggest you have a piece of cardboard to seperate them if they fight. The male will sniff the female. if the female allows it then it is probably ok.
hamsters fight for dominance it always happens male male female female and male female all you can do is watch if it gets out of hand separate them hamsters are also solitary and they don't need company so don't feel bad separating them
Hamsters are solitary animals, the female will not be receptive to a male unless she is in heat.
