The females squirt eggs into the water and the males squirt sperm into the water. Some of them are lucky enough to meet and the offspring float off in the current as they slowly grow.
Mollusks first are hatched then they grow up surviving the best they can. Once a full grown adult they mate when ready . Once they mate the female watches her eggs until they hatch . When the eggs have hatched the mother dies and the cycle starts all over again
they grow shells and some have claws. i know there are other things mollusks do for survival, but i cannot think of them off of the top of my head. PLEASE EDIT!
