The differences shown by the individuals of one kind of organisms are called variations. Variations are due to hereditary and non-hereditary characteristics. Characteristics, which are passed from parents to off spring, are called hereditary characteristics.
In general the term variation means the difference in characteristics of organisms belonging to the same species in a natural population.
Two types of variation, i.e. continuous and discontinuous, occur in any large population. In continuous variation, there are small differences among individuals of the same species and many intermediate forms are seen. So there is a complete gradation of many characteristics of organisms from one extreme to the other in a population. E.g. height in human being. Characteristics showing continuous variation are produced due to combined effects of many genes and environmental factors.

VARIATION
No.
Genetic and morphological variation. Without variation in organisms there would only be the shifts of genetic drift and gene flow in organisms. When organusms are varied then one can be selected from the other by the environment and the organisms ability to reproduce against that environment. Then there is evolution.
True yes
Basic source of variation in all organisms is mutation .
The science of genes, heredity, and the variation of organisms.
nonsense ,dum and crazy are the two types variation shown by living organisms.
Variation is important among organisms for us to indicate which is which :))

Galapagos Islands are the islands where Charles Darwin observed variation among organisms.
Human recombination is a significant source of genetic variation.
VARIATION
It increases genetic variation in organisms
Variations arise due to recombinations(gene rearrangements) ,mutations etc.The former is the principal source of variation in sexually reproducing organisms and the latter is the source of variation in asexual organisms.According to Darwin variation arises due to chance since all the above mentioned process occur in nature spontanuously all organisms show variation
DNA is responsible in most organisms, but RNA is responsible for heredity and variation of a lot of viruses.
