If you are talking about Mt. everest, easy to explain. People that climb up the mountain die from these many causes:

Frostbite; once this happens, you cant get taken care of very easily.

Falling; very slippery, one false move and your dead

lack of food; some people come unprepared

sickness; be careful NOT to get sick

Lack of oxygen; people die from not being able to breath, remember, Mt. Everest is extremely tall.

I have heard that 10% of all who attempt the summit will die, before they return.
Some never return, but are simply left up there. Google Earth shows pictures of some of these people frozen, as a reminder of how hard it is to go up and then return safely.
Here is an article with an example picture and all the facts.

Well it's very expensive and challenging to take the bodies down so they don't do it expect for the very rich so most of the bodies are just left up there and to make things harder the natives that are used to climbing the mountain are scared of the bodies and don't go anywhere near them.
