Weathering is the breakdown of a rock into smaller particles. Acids from animal waste and even the movement of rocks from an animals locomotion can contribute to weathering. Some marine organisms can create chemicals which chemically attack rock causing dissolution.
Animals burrow and these burrows then allow rain water and air to come in contact with rocks which can cause weathering.
Plant and animals weather rocks by the animals rubbing against the rock and plants' roots growing in the cracks and making the cracks bigger
Plants and animals have the ability to weather rocks. These plants and animals can rub against the rock or force water or dirt over the rock.
Well animals can urinate on the rocks and the plants can where down rock by the soil and other types of things but rocks can get wore down by rain too.

Darwin researched plants, animals and rocks. He is most famous for his natural selection theories he thought of while researching.
If you find fossil plants and animals that lived in hot, wet areas then you know the weather was hot and wet. This is how you tell what the weather was probably like in the past.
Animals get most of their energy and nutrition from plants. Animals either eat the plants, or eat animals that ate the plants. Also, it gives animals a place to live. Such as spiders, ants, moles, and other animals. Plants also provide animals oxygen.
Organic Sedimentary Rocks are formed from remains of plants and animals.
They produce acids that can weather rocks and minerals that dissolves the rocks

Biogenic Sedimentary Rocks
Biotic factors are living things, like plants and animals. Abiotic factors are non-living things, like rocks and weather.
