Because of the mild temperatures, in the temperate forest biome, plants can live longer and they alsoreceive enough precipitation from year round; also since the soil is usually rich with the nutrients from the dead leaves from the trees that grow there.

Some of the plants that grow in the temperate forest include sequoias, fir, hemlock, pine, and spruce. Basically, a temperate forest grows in the northern and southern hemisphere in the temperate regions.
Plants include but are not limited to oaks, maples, birches and other deciduous plants.

there are many types of plant survive in forest like Aerial plants such as orchids , spanish moss and staghorn fern.

Trees like a maple and spruce grow in a temperate rainforest. i am not for sure they are the same but i think they are.
