aging occur due to enhanced production of ROS(reductive oxygen specie) in the body specifically in cytoplasm. these species attack on DNA while damage it. so it is obvious that if DNA is not there, no life is. in first stage of death the weakness in the body is felt and gradually the metabolism of body slows down, eventually death occur. Here breathing system is stopped too. the nervous system may sensitive for some time after complete loss of life
