first of all the vapor separator is attached to the top left side of the fuel tank you have to drain gas tank 2nd disconnect battery 3rd lift rear of car with jackstand's this will allow sufficient room for the gas tank to be removed when the time come's.4th crawl under rear of car ,you will see spare tire compartment it need's to be removed once that is accomplished you will have a view of the gas tank there will be two strapps visable you will need a floor jack with you one with a a good size platform say 6by6 or larger so when you remove the two strapps the gas tank has something to sit on.Their will be hoses connected to the upper part of the tank so be very careful.Only allow the tank with help from the floor jack to lower just enough to remove anything attached to tank,then lower tank.
