Rhinos are mainly solitary animals, particularly the males. They'll pretty much only seek out females when it's mating season. Then they might have to face competition from other bulls, and that's basically it for their social life.

Females, particularly related ones are more tolerant of each others company, but still not enough to form herds other than by "accident", as they gather at a water hole or similar.

Rhinos don't really play often but sometimes, young rhinos can be seen jumping around in the water and splashing each other. They also play fight in a manner similar to dogs.
