The moon was thought to have formed 4.527 billion years ago, when a large planetoid the size of mars collided with the earth, as the solar system was still in its infancy. The remains of this impact went into orbit around the Earth, forming into the moon we have today.
No respected or respectable scientist would think that. So no.
No one really knows how the Moon was formed. There are a few different hypothesis but not all scientists agree on one. Wikipedia has a short version of 4 of them.
big bang
they put monkeys on earth
i think when the moon cooled down.
Europa is the sixth moon of the planet Jupiter.
Scientists don't think the moon came from the Pacific Ocean. Instead, the leading hypothesis is that the moon was formed from a giant impact between Earth and a Mars-sized object called Theia, about 4.5 billion years ago. This collision would have ejected debris that eventually coalesced to form the moon.
I think Copernicus was one of them
well magma is lava and its made from molten rock.
Scientist theorize that a planet-sized object collided with earth and the moon formed
It is small
Because it take time to study the moon rocks and the moon sand.It is not at all easy as some people think.
