Sea turtles have a very thick skin and usually bite the jellyfish from above eating the main body and the beak usually shearing the tentacles of the jellies off. They do occasionally get stung, but it is not fatal thanks to many years of genetic evolution of the species.
Sea turtles (Olive Ridley, Kemps Ridley, Hawksbill, Loggerhead, Green, Flatback or Leatherback) are large reptiles and cannot defend themselves out of the water. They are too large to retreat into their shells like freshwater turtles or tortoises. They are relatively slow moving on land and only leave the water to lay eggs. If they deem the area too dangerous they will protect themselves by going into the water. Although currently, the only real predators for adult sea turtles are humans.
In the sea, their predators can include sharks and crocodiles, although again their main problem is fishing nets or hooks which can drown the sea turtles. They tend to be passive creatures so will use spirts of speed underwater to run away from predators.
Turtles are immune to the jellyfish's sting.
They have an immunity to the stinging cells. Or they have no feeling in their mouth like a horse eating a nettle and not being affected.
Their skin is thick enough that the venom doesn't enter the bloodstream.
ummm... I am pretty sure that sea turtles don't sting.... maybe you mean jellyfish?
Nothing really :P
Turtles eat by opening their mouth and chomping! Turtles do not have teeth. Instead, they have a bony beak-like mouth that slices off bits of food. Sea turtles like to eat jellyfish, and their tough mouth helps keep them from getting stung.
The largest sea turtles are the leatherbacks
