  • Children who are 4-5 are at an impressionable age. Even the story of Jonah and the Whale can be frightening to them. They must have their exposure to stories, television, computers, people, children and things of the world closely monitored. They will turn out to be positive children and do well in first grade if they are exposed to good topics, people and technological things. At this age they need to do a lot of things with their hands to gain great mechanical ability with their fingers, grip and arm strength. Their legs need to be exercised and pushed to their limits as far as lifting, moving, running, jumping, and skipping.
  • If a child is not exposed to good and right things during the ages 0-5 it is generally thought that the child will not be able to be retrained after that age. I disagree with that because I have seen children turned around by professionals, foster parents, relatives and teachers. They can relearn even if they get brain damaged.
