There is always a way to do something that you are not supposed to do, but why do it? Unfortunately, I believe that YouTube should remain blocked in school. While YouTube does house thousands of educational and informative videos, it contains tens of thousands of inappropriate and non educational videos. Students will have more of a temptation to watch music videos and cartoons versus watching informative videos. Since Schools cannot control what is viewed on YouTube, it would make matters worse. Filtering software is term and site specific, so unless Google redesigned YouTube to work with school filters, it would ultimately fail.
