To remove the battery from a Citroen C3 keyfob. Firstly unloop the key from an keyring. Remove the cross head screw from near the metal part of the key Use a small coin or flat bladed screwdriver to lever apart the two halves of the clamshell. There is an easy access point in the clamshell at the point the key attaches to the keyring. You will then see the battery on the circuit board.
