The higher the frequency, the faster the motor will spin. This results in better cooling, so the motor can be designed smaller. There are other effects as well, but perhaps this will get you started.

Both of these two values have an effect on the revolutions per minute of the motor. It is these two values that the principal of the Variable Frequency Drive operates on. Not using a VFD, the nameplate ratings of the motor must be adhered to.

Do induction cooktops affect stereo gear?

This should be easy for you to determine if you have both items of equipment. Some Induction Cook-tops operate at a frequency in the 20 - to 30 kHz frequency range, so the possibility is non-zero.

How frequency affect the performance of a transformer?

Transformers are designed for a specific application. frequency IS A MAJOR FACTOR THAT GOES INTO THE DESIGN.

State three things which can affect the voltage in a circuit?

Ohms Law says that Voltage = Current * Ohms, so the twothings that can affect the voltage in a circuit are Current and Ohms. If have a non resistive impedance, i.e. a capacitor or inductor forming a reactance, then frequency can also affect the voltage but, mathematicaly, reactance is a frequency domain form of impedance, so my answer stands - Current and Ohms.

How are FM signal generated?

There are several methods for generating FM signals but they all basically involve an oscillator with an electrically adjustable frequency. This type of oscillator uses an input voltage to affect the frequency of its output. For example, when the applied voltage increases, the oscillator output frequency increases and when the applied voltage decreases, the oscillator output frequency decreases as well. If no voltage is applied to the oscillator its output will be a signal at its centre frequency. The amount of frequency variations is deviated around the oscillators' centre frequency.

Can a bad battery affect car performance?

Yes. Some of the vehicle's electronics are voltage sensitive.

How does frequency affect amplitude?

we use dc supply for amplifcation and dc have no frequincy. we amplify just signal curent or signal voltage.

How do capacitors affect voltage?

An ideal capacitor integrates the voltage across it. If you look at its frequency response you'd see that it's like a delta function at 0Hz, which represents a time domain integration.

Will a 220v 50 hz work in 320v 60 hz?

Voltage and frequency are at best cousins. They don't normally affect once another in equipment rating, i.e., you cannot replace a device with a different frequency in hopes of making up a voltage shortfall or vice-versa. These two voltages are incompatible.

What affect current flow?

In DC circuits . . .-- Voltage of the supply-- Resistance of the loadIn AC circuits . . .-- Both of the above, plus-- Frequency of the supply-- Reactance of the load

On a step up transformer if the input is 200 Hz will the out put also be 200 Hz?

Yes. Transformers affect the current and voltage of the applied power. The frequency will remain the same.

Which of the following factors does not affect the voltage produced in a voltaic cell?

Voltage is not stoichiometric, so increasing the number of moles of a substance will not affect its voltage.
