The online e-mail services use ads that pay when someone clicks on them and because there are so many people that use them they make a large amount this way. E-mails from internet providers are paid directly by the customer. Some sites don't make any money from e-mail but use as a free incentive to get more visitors for other sections of the site.

There are many e-mail Servers but for any one to be a good e-mail server they should have spam blocker and the ability to block unwanted e-mail adresses. First any e-mail that iss offered through your internet provider would be an excelent choice. Like roadrunner, Aol, etc. If that is not an option then using Hotmail or Yahoo is also a good choice.
