The ER, does not only play a major role in creating protiens, but also helps transport proitiens to the cell membrane. Here they can then leave the cell if needed.

What produces membrane and endoplasmic reticulum?

The ribosomes are responsible for protein production in the cell, and are thus instrumental in producing membrane and endoplasmic reticulum.

Do all cells have Endoplasmic Reticulum?

The endoplasmic reticulum is not uniform throughout the cell. In places the membranes of the endoplasmic reticulum are joined to the outer membrane. The endoplasmic reticulum can either be smooth or rough. In rough endoplasmic reticulum the outer surface of the membranes are lined with ribosomes, in smooth endoplasmic reticulum, there are no ribosomes.

What does the endoplasmic in a cell do?

i am pretty sure that the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) helps with the cell membrane and if part of the cell membrane dies it helps rebuild that part of it

Where do lipids and proteins constituting the cell membrane get synthesised?

more specifically: Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum (RER) - synthesizes proteins constituting cell membrane. Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum (SER) - synthesizes lipids constituting cell membrane

The canals that connect the cell membrane with the nuclear membrane are?

The endoplasmic reticulum is the canal that connects the cell membrane with the nuclear membrane.
