There are no set rules for Baptists concerning how often they pray. It is up to the individual, but they are encouraged to walk closely with God and to have a living relationship with him and so would pray often if they have a right relationship with their heavenly Father.
First, the Baptists are a denomination, not a religion, of the Christian Belief or Faith. Since Baptists, Lutherans, Methodist, Presbyterians and many other denominations share a basic set of beliefs, that is what defines them as Christians.
Worship on the other hand varies from one denomination to the next and within each denomination, according to the desires of the local governing authorities and the local congregations. I would say that what is common to worship in all Christian denominations is: vocal and instrumental music of praise, prayer by the congregation and the leaders and different readings and teaching from the Holy Scriptures (Bible). The worship is expressed in all of these activities though they may be arranged in different sequences during the time that the believers gather together for worship.
Baptist worship services are usually fairly simple and casual. Most churches will start out singing a few songs, followed by an opportunity to give, and then maybe a another song, usually there will be a congregational prayer led by the pastor, and then some scripture reading. Then the pastor will give a message based on the scripture and close with an invitation time in which the congregation is encourage to respond to the message either by speaking with the pastor or by praying up at the front of the church. All baptist churches are independent so every one worships a little bit differently, but this is a basic idea of what to expect.
Just the same as you would imagine other christians to pray.
Clasp your hands together, close your eyes and lower you head and Speak from the heart.
Baptists practice baptism by immersion (dunking the body partially or completely underwater), as opposed to sprinkling or pouring.

John the Baptist, is accorded a special status, higher than his role in Christianity. Mandaeans do not consider John to be the founder of their religion but revere him as one of their greatest teachers, tracing their beliefs back to Adam. Mandaeans believe that Jesus was a false messiah and that he perverted the teachings given to him by John. They view John the Baptist as a savior, but not as God, so they do not worship him in the way that Christians worship Jesus.
