In Animal Farm, the pigs eventually turn against Animal Farm and begin to like and hang out with the humans. Therefore, they begin to look like actual men and take on alot of their characteristics.
Napoleon is manipulating the hens and takes their eggs. the hens decide to rebel against him. In response to this, he starves them into submission. Later, the ringleaders are killed by his dogs during one of the 'purges.'
