How hot is the heat inside a hot air balloon?

it is the same temperture as it is outside the air balloon:)

What are the particles on the inside and outside of a hot air balloon?

turds

Why the hot air balloon needs hot air to make it rise?

Hot air balloons use hot air because hot air rises above cold air. The air inside the balloon is heated above the temperature of the air outside the balloon. The warmer air trapped inside the balloon then causes the balloon to float above the outside colder air.

What temperature must it be outside for a balloon to float?

Outside temperature is largely immaterial. It is really the difference between the temperature inside and outside of the balloon envelope that generates the lift. If both are exactly the same, then the balloon will simply fall under gravity -- it has no buoyancy. As the inside temperature increases, so does its buoyancy. Eventually, the difference will be sufficient to overcome gravity, and the greater the difference, the faster it will rise. When the optimum altitude is achieved, the air inside is allowed to cool to an optimum level to maintain that altitude; the optimum temperature will vary according to the outside temperature and the weight of the balloon. The outside temperature will vary according to altitude, as will air pressure outside of the balloon, therefore there is no single answer to the question. It is the difference in temperature that is important, not the actual temperature.

What would happen if the air outside the hot air balloon were as hot as air inside?

what are the charicteristics about of a high pressure system

What has to happen for a balloon to inflate?

The pressure inside the balloon has to exceed the pressure outside the balloon.

When you heat the air inside a hot air balloon, it rises. Why does this occur?

D: The hot air inside the balloon becomes less dense than the air outside the balloon.

Why you can smell perfume outside a balloon?

If perfume is sprayed inside a balloon and then the balloon is blown up, you can still smell the perfume from the outside of the balloon. This is because the material of the balloon is thin.

How does the kinetic energy of air inside a balloon to outside air?

the air inside the balloon has more kinetic energy

What can you say about the gas inside a balloon?

The gas inside of a balloon is less dense than the air outside of it if the balloon floats. If the balloon does not float the density of the gas inside of it is equal to or more dense than that around it.

What happens to the pressure of the air outside of the balloon as it goes higher?

The pressure inside the balloon will be higher because the balloon will try to get smaller and thus the balloon will ascent due to the low density of the helium inside the balloon.

Why does the pressure outside the balloon decrease as it rises?

The pressure outside the balloon doesn't change when the balloon rises. By a balloon rising, I assume that air is being placed into the balloon. As the balloon fills with air, the pressure inside the balloon will increase. Since the balloon can stretch, the increasing pressure against its inner walls will cause it to rise, or more correctly put, expand. Eventually, the balloon will be stretched to its fullest capacity if more air is placed inside it. When it pops, the bang you hear is the high pressure of the atmosphere inside the balloon equalizing with the lower pressure of the atmosphere outside the balloon.

How you know gas is inside the balloon?

If there were nothing inside the balloon - a vacuum - the balloon would quickly collapse due to the pressure of the atmosphere outside it. A firmer structure might resist the air pressure, but not a balloon.

Is the pressure of a balloon greater on the inside or outside?

It's greater on the outside until it rises to a point in the atmosphere where the air is very thing. At that point, the pressure inside the balloon is greater which causes it to pop.
