a subtropical rain forest is closer to the eastern side of Australia near the ocean

and a tropical rain forest is more closer to the middle of NSW or in the middle of Australia but has been seen more closer to the western side of austrlia

There are two major differences, the amount of precipitation (rain) and the animals that live in each location... You could count the species and number of trees if you wanted.

A tropical rainforest is comprised of trees and a tropical grassland has no trees but lots of grass.
