i am no expert but from what i understand most tribes, all around the world, depend there own tribe for safey and support. they almost always rely on the land and the food it provides, the work would be sewing, basket weaving, spear making (although most warrior/hunters make there own.) for women it would be more or less the same, but in most tribes they will be excluded from the hunt, or battle, and left to tend the village and children.

They were farmers. Ancient Native Americans built a system of irrigation in the desert. They diverted water from creeks, streams and rivers into the 'canals' or ditches of their irrigation system. They cultivated staples such as maize, squash, and beans. They also gathered food that grew in the wild such as ginger, spinach and onions. Finally, they hunted small and large game which they ate fresh and dried.
