Buy a fridge/freezer and plug it in! That's the only wayguaranteed, thatthe ice will not melt for any given time (as long as you pay the bills on time)
If you have to build a container, then your best bet is a thermo:
A thermos bottle prevents heat transfer to the outside by using a vacuum between the walls of the bottle.
The innerwall is usually made of glass while the outside wall is made of a plastic.
Metal walls also exist.
A vacuum doesnt conduct, since you need a substance to conduct heat.
Same goes for convection, warm and cold liquids / gasses can rise and drop all they want, but the heat cant be passed on to the outside wall.
Radiation is prevented by using reflective surfaces, which bounce back into the substance you are carrying in the bottle.

It will begin to melt.
It takes about 6-10 minutes.
0° Celsius is the temperature at which ice starts to melt.
You melt the ice cub
Ice will melt when the surrounding temperature is above 0.C (Zero Degrees Celsius)
In an open container because the warm air can melt the ice faster.
If the container is cold, then the ice cream will stay colder longer, therefore taking less time to melt. If the container is warm, the ice cream will get slightly warmer than if it was cold, which makes it take less time to melt.
yes it will

it takes 2 minutes for it to melt
20 minutes
It takes 3 minutes for a cubic foot of ice to melt if you have a tempertured controled room because if its to hot or to cold the ice will either take faster to melt or slower so 3 minutes is the average time for a cubic foot of ice to melt.
Ice will melt on its own say you sat a container with ice in it on the counter let it stay out all night and it will be in the liquid stage of matter.
well i can only answer if your container is plastic. It take about 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours and 10 minutes.
an industrial power microwave oven
it would probably take about five minutes for the ice cube to actually melt
