I just did it on 2003 buick rendezvous,i bought a can of fix leak, oil, freon all in one from advance and hooked it up to the lower a/c port and charged it to about 35 psi and the air blows like new.
The ac recharge port is the low side port. It is on the hoses on the passenger side of the engine close to the belts.
Take it to a mechanic.
To change the refrigerant in a Buick Rendezvous you will need to remove the old freon. Freon is bad for the ozone, so you will need to hook to a special machine and reclaim it. Next you will need to pull a vacuum on the ac syatem, then fill with new freon.
it is either on your fuses under your hood or right under the glove box on your left side
Connect a freon tank and gauge to the Buick Century low side ac port. Start the car and turn the ac to high. Open the tank and allow freon to flow. Shut the tank off when the gauge reads full.
On the receiver/dryer.
it is on the passenger side of the engine compartment, and is part of the big silver accumilator.
Still under warranty. Take it to the dealer.
Buy a kit at Wal-Mart or auto parts comes with instructions
You should not attempt to recharge the ac system unless you are qualified to do so. There are a lot of things that can go wrong. Take it to a dealer or repair shop and have them test the system, as there may be a leak. If that's the case, recharging it would only cost you money.
On my service DVD i cant seem to find a low pressure switch. i did find a AC refrigerant pressure switch i dont knwo if its the same
