The tail light mounting assemblies are accessed through the trunk. Open the trunk lid and "peel" back the carpeting that's covering the tail lights on the inside of the trunk. If you're only replacing the bulb, twist the round plastic "socket" counterclockwise and pull it out. The bulb will either be a "push-in" type or a "push-and-turn" type. Remove bulb and replace reversing this sequence. It helps prolong bulb life, with today's high output bulbs, to wipe your fingerprints off with lacquer thinner (if you have some) or I guess Windex would do if that's all you had. If you're removing the tail light assembly (the plastic piece that holds the bulb). You should see the mounting screws when you peel back the carpet too. .
