Yes. All smartphones on the Verizon Wireless network such as the Droid X currently require a monthly data plan
Back up your Droid's data onto an external source, such as a computer, if your phone is operational. Hit your Droid's "Menu" key and tap the "Settings" option. Tap "Privacy," "Factory Data Reset," and then tap the "Reset phone" option to restore your Droid to its default factory settings. Allow the Droid to reset itself and then reload all your backed up data, unless you suspect a downloaded application was causing problems with your Droid.
Loading files from a computer to a Droid X mobile phone is a great way to quickly copy pictures or music to the device. Start by connect the Droid X to the computer with a USB cable. Touch the top status bar and slide down to notifications and select USB Connected. Touch Notification and then select Mount. The Droid X should now show up as a drive in Windows explorer allowing the files to be transferred over. Once the file transfer is done, go back Notifications and Turn off USB Storage.

It depends on what you want to do. The Droid X is slightly faster and has a better camera while the Droid 2 has the physical keyboard. In my opinion the Droid X is better.
Droid X is much bigger. Better. Faster.
MB810 is the model number for the Droid X. If anyone has referred to the Droid X as MB10 it was most likely shorthand or possibly a mistake.
Droid X was created on 2010-07-15.
