The case tractor is a steam engine powered tractor founded by Jerome Case in 1847. The case tractor has an enclosed seat can be used for plowing or sowing the land. Case tractors ,which were made by the Case Company, are used primarily for construction and agricultural work. These tractors can be bought new or used.
Check the rear of the tractor above the PTO. I may be wrong so if it isn't there check on the engine for a plate w/ a number of a cast engine number which your John Deere dealer should be able to identify and tell you at least what year it is.
It was founded by Jerome Increase Case in 1842. The first tractor (powered by steam) was built in 1869 and their first traction engine was built in 1876.
Delo 400 or Rotella are good tractor oils.
Anyplace that sells this filter can cross reference it for you.

The hydraulic reservoir on the case 730 should be in about the same area as the case 630......on the right side of the tractor at the rear of the engine and on what would be the bell housing is a large cap screw type plug. There should be a dipstick not too far from it....you add hydraulic oil there, if it is a case-o-matic. If it is a standard transmission, then the dipstick and the plug should be on the rear of the tractor around where the seat bolts on.
