Define what you mean by 'act normal', or for that matter how you define normal.

Many Autistic people attempt to 'pass' as neurotypical as a means of survival, but as Autism acceptance increases there's less of a need to do this - there's nothing wrong with being Autistic, continuing to act Autistic is not a problem and shouldn't be treat as something abnormal.

If both your parents have autism can you be born normal?

Autistic people are normal - so yes, if both parents are autistic they may have an autistic child or a neurotypical child, either way that child is normal.

Are all autistic children saviants?

No, not all Autistic children are savants. Many Savants are Autistic, but most Autistic people are as normal as Neurotypical people with no particularly special talents.

Do all autism people act the same?

No, not all autistic people act the same - autistic people are as different and varied as neurotypical people. Like with neurotypical people all autistic people will share common traits, but once you meet one autistic person then you've met one autistic person...we're all very different.

Can a nornal child turn into autistic child?

Firstly, it's offensive for you to imply that autistic people are abnormal - autistic people are different to neurotypical people, not less than. A person is born autistic, it is not something that happens to 'normal' people or something that you turn into, you are always autistic.

My 2.5 year-old doesn't speak till now but he looks normal would he still be autistic?

If your child is Autistic then they will always be Autistic, that cannot change as Autism is part of their neurology and who they are. I'm not entirely sure why 'looks normal' is a reason to think his Autism is in question, Autistic people look no different to neurotypical people. Please, if your child is Autistic you need to learn about Autism.

Why do autistic kids act different?

Autistic children act differently to neurotypical children because they are different.Autistic people experience the world and interact with the world differently to neurotypical people. Autistic people lack social and communication skills of neurotypical people, and if you view neurotypical behaviour as the norm or ideal it looks as though autistic people are 'different'.

Does ABA always help autistic people?

No, in fact ABA is considered to be abusive towards Autistic people. At it's best it is a form of training used to attempt to force an Autistic person to act like they are neurotypical - at it's core it assumes neurotypical is normal and that Autistic people are inferior, as such it is ableist and can teach low self-esteem in Autistic people, it also puts the burden on Autistic people to add to their strain by attempting to pass as neurotypical (rather than encouraging Autistic people to be themselves and encourage wider society to accept Autistic people). At it's worst ABA is abusive, involving abuse via punishment and denying Autistic people the things they need to maintain mental and neurological help e.g. preventing stimming or down time to cope with over stimulation, or punishing an Autistic person for suffering a meltdown which is beyond their control.

Why don't autistic people like being called normal?

Some autistic people don't mind being normal, they tried passing for normal because of being bullied and judged in different ways. Now they know how being normal affects them. Yes, they think that's how people are going to get attached to them- but some decide to stick with their autistic behavior. They don't like how being normal affects them and they know it's making other people happy but not themselves.

Why don't some autistic people like being called normal?

Some people with autism have tried passing for normal because of being bullied or judged in the past. And they knew later on how it affected them. Being normal can block out our energy and can drain out everything in us. If we were being normal everyday, we would be boring. Some autistic people don't mind being called normal. But for some, they do find it offensive-same with me. Because they think that's how neurotypical people would approve of them. Autistic people should not be ashamed of being autistic-even I'm not. If some people don't approve their autistic behavior-it's mostly their problem. Autistic people shouldn't try to be someone that they truly aren't to impress other people and so people around them wouldn't feel embarresed.

Are all feral children autistic?

Feral children may act similar to severally autistic children, but the conditions are different. Autism is caused by genetics, feralism is caused by extreme neglect, so feral children are technically not autistic, though I've seen theories that say only autistic children are capable of figuring out on how to live in the wild, and therefor all feral would be autistic.
